The Meridian Public School Foundation’s Annual Golf Tournament Fundraiser was held on
Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Shuksan Golf Course. The golf, food, and camaraderie could not
have been better. It’s always a pleasure to see the alumni that participate; each year we are
humbled by the amounts of non-alumni who come out to support the Meridian Public School
Foundation.
We had 100 players participate this year, our largest group ever! Some highlights from the golf
tournament are:
Men’s Long Drive Winner – Mark Simmons
Women’s Long Drive Winner – Jackie Nethery
Men’s Closest to the Pin – Hunter Newland
Women’s Closest to the Pin – Maggie Chambers
1st Place – Mike Burgess, Selena Burgess, Bob Shannon and Bill Porter
2nd Place – Gordy Logan, Aaron Claeys, Nick Larsen and Cole Frasier
3rd Place – Hunter Newlin, Derek Holz, Woody Heron and Wayne Foote
